There are three kinds of ADHD, according to the American classification of diseases known as DSM V. These are:

  1. Mainly inattentive, poor concentration type ( ADD)

  2. Mainly hyperactive-impulsive type (ADHD)

  3. Mainly a combination of the two above ( ADHD)
