Non-Violence Day

There have been too many wars, and too much blood-shed. Often in the name of greed and power, and sometimes even in the name of a good cause. Through this, however, there have also been many people who have sought to make changes without violence, and those are the citizens that we celebrate today.

This day was founded in 2007, chosen as October 2nd in honour of Mahatma Ghandi and his stances as a non-violent political activist.
