Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

If you have already signed up for our CBT course, follow the link here: Freo Wellbeing BTB Course.

CBT, or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, is a form of psychological therapy which helps to treat a lot of mental health disorders, such as Anxiety, Depression, OCD and more. This treatment could either be as a stand alone or with other treatments for mental health disorders, like medication, social activities and other forms of therapy. It involves understanding your thoughts and current processes, setting personal goals, and working hard over time to change them.

We use an online platform called Beating the Blues for completing the CBT course, and after purchase, it is available for use for 4 months. You can work at it at your own pace and finish it earlier if you feel compelled to do so. The course can also been repeated over and over again within the 4 month time frame if, for example, you are not in the right state of mind the first time you try it.

How can you get the most out of Beating the Blues?

Commitment
To embracing the concepts
To carrying out the projects
To putting techniques into practice

Willingness
To be open to change
To accept what you can't control
To think realistically

If you are interested in taking our CBT course, with or without therapy alongside, please head to our sign up page to organise a initial consultation.

If you are in an urgent crisis situation and need to talk right now, there are many helplines staffed by trained people ready to listen. They won't judge, and could help you make sense of what you're feeling.
